PASS Returns To White Mountain For Granite State Go This Weekend

NAPLES, ME (July 17) – For the third time this season, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models will be returning to New Hampshire for this Saturday night’s PASS 150 Pres. By New England Racing Fuel at White Mountain Motorsports Park.  It will be part of a big weekend of racing in the Granite State as New Hampshire Motor Speedway will be hosting a full-compliment of daytime action on their 1-mile oval.

The PASS North Super Late Model standings have tightened considerably after last weekend’s action at Oxford Plains Speedway.  Garrett Hall continues to lead, but his advantage has shrunk to just 12 markers over 3-time series champion and New Hampshire native, DJ Shaw.  Vermont’s Nick Sweet is just 19 points behind Hall, while Derek Griffith, Gabe Brown, and former Oxford 250 winners, Ben Rowe and Travis Benjamin, are all within 85 points of the leader.

After a season’s best runner-up finish at Oxford Plains last weekend, Rowe is primed to continue building on his momentum and there could not be a better place for him to do that than White Mountain.  Rowe has won an astonishing 10 PASS North races at White Mountain, including his lone win in 2018.  Sitting just 51 points behind Hall for the championship lead, Rowe could be on the verge of his first North title run since 2007.

“White Mountain is one of my favorite tracks for sure,” says Rowe, driver of the Richard Moody and Sons Construction/Hancock Lumber Ford Mustang #4.  “It’s a tight quarter-mile that is fast and definitely has two grooves to race on.  Hopefully we hit on something at Oxford and we’ll see if it works at White Mountain.”

Among others who are currently pre-entered for this weekend at White Mountain include 2019 Easter Bunny 150 winner, Derek Ramstrom, Vermont’s Bobby Therrien, and home state favorite, Dan Winter.

All the action gets under way this weekendat White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday with practice starting at 2:45 PM, heat races at 6:15 PM, followed by main events for the PASS North Super Late Models, Late Models, Flying Tigers, and Dwarf Cars.

PASS Super Late Model entry forms for White Mountain Motorsports Park, Star Speedway, and Spud Speedway, along with the 46thAnnual Oxford 250 and Lanier National 200 at Lanier Raceplex, can be found at ProAllStarsSeries.com.
