LEE, NH:  Plans continue to develop for the season-ending 34th annual

Oktoberfest of Racing here at Lee USA Speedway with a $50,000 purse announced this week for the 10-division program Saturday and Sunday, October 7th-8th.

Drivers and cars from various New England speedways will be joining the Lee regulars for the traditional special season finale.

Super-modifieds, the Valenti modified tour and pro stocks lead the list of well over 200 race cars expected for the full 22-race program on Saturday, with practice at noon, and eight feature races on Sunday with the green flag at noon.

Heat races on Saturday will include super-mods, modifieds, pro stocks, classic lite stocks, pro-four modifieds, and super street stocks. Feature events will include a 30-lap pure stock, 30-lap pro-four modified and a strictly stock 25-lap main event.

Sunday’s all-feature race part of the twinbill will include the
Advanced Gas Distributors 75-lap Oktoberfest championship feature for
modifieds, a 50-lap, $1,500-to-win pro stock feature and a 50-lap late model super-stock main event.

Super-modifieds will run a 30-lap feature race on Sunday with $1,000 going to the winner. Late model super-street cars will run a   50-lap feature with hobby stocks in a 30-lap main event. The ironmen and roadrunner stocks will each run 30-lap features with Classic lites in a 20-lap main event.

All divisions also will have an open practice session throughout the day on Friday between3pm and 7pm.

Racing on Saturday and Sunday will run throughout the day.
