Alex Moore, of Oxford, ME. will be driving the #21 in the Sr. Sportsman Series at Richmond Karting Speedway. “My racing plans for 2017 are to get some wins and compete for the championship.”

The 2017 race season at RKS gets underway on  April 30th but, Alex has been keeping busy in the off season. “In the off-season, I’ve been going to school and just hanging out with my family.”

Though Alex missed a few races in the start of the season last year, he did finish the season with a 4th place in points. “In 2016, I don’t think we really had a highlight, because we didn’t run as good as I think we should have. There were probably some 2nd place finishes, but that’s it really.”

Though there isn’t much racing over the winter, that doesn’t mean the race teams aren’t busy. There is always work to be done. “The kart is not ready YET! Where getting there, we started to work on the kart. But, from me “Yes” will have it done.”

Alex will be busy as he looks to run the full schedule in the Sr. Sportsman as well as the Triple X Series at RKS. “Yes, we will be ready for the 2017 season and will be ready to ‘hopefully’ shake down the comp. and have a great last season, before moving up.”

Alex would like to thank his team sponsors for the 2017 race season. “Yes, we have lined up our sponsors.” – WildCo., Marwin Construction, (Karla) The Sun Room, Fashion Inc., and A&W Paving
