CHARLOTTE, NC (March 29) – After a weekend that saw torrential rains pound the Southeast, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South competitors are looking forward to a return trip to Dillon (SC) Motor Speedway this Saturday night for the rescheduled 6th Annual South Carolina Clash. With an extra week off to get prepared for the tricky 4/10 mile oval, this weekend’s event promises to be extremely competitive. Before the rains moved into the region and forced the cancellation of the event on its originally scheduled date last weekend, 23 PASS South teams converged on Dillon last Friday to get their machines fine tuned. Travis Dunbar is making the move this season to compete in the Coors Six Pack Pro Stock Series, which is a 6 race schedule divided between Lee Speedway, in Lee, NH and Canaan Fair Speedway, in Canaan, NH. Travis and the race team along with some new crew members have spent the winter getting the car ready to race, at the Coors Season opener on May 28th at Canaan Speedway.
When he isn’t turning the wrench, Travis has been meeting the fans at the Northeast Motorsports Expo, Auburn show, as well as booking appearances with the Autism Society of Maine. (more…)

Canaan, NH. — Two-time Waterford Speedbowl Late Model champion Timmy Jordan
of Plainfield, CT, will move to open-wheel racing and the Valenti Modified Racing
Series when the tour opens its 2011 season at the famed race track Saturday and Sunday, April 2 & 3. The two-day event marks the second consecutive season the VMRS will be part of the annual Budweiser Blast-Off Weekend.
Jordan, who started his racing career at Waterford in the mini-stock division, moved
to the full-bodied Late Models where he garnered 22 wins over the last five years. Although open wheel racing will be new to the 26-year-old high school teacher, Jordan feels he has good experience to tap into, to lean on for information and input. (more…)
