Naples, Maine – 2011 PASS South Series competition heats up with the introduction of Hamke Race Cars as an associate sponsor for the PASS South Series.

Hamke Race Cars of Mooresville, North Carolina will award a bare Super Late Model standard chassis to the 2011 PASS South Series Champion.

Robert Hamke has been a force within short track racing through about every aspect of competition for years and stands as one of the most respected chassis buildesr in the country. “We are honored to have Robert’s support for the series and it’s racers” stated series president Tom Mayberry.

Hamke race cars track record stands as the winning-est chassis builder in PASS South competition since the series inception. Collectively, Hamke race cars have earned more Championships and Rookie of the Year awards than all other competing chassis builders combined.

In 2010 Hamke race cars scored 10 wins in 13 events, taking home both PASS South and National Championships with driver Preston Peltier . Series runner-up Ryan Blaney powered to 3 wins through his successful season. 2010 PASS South Rookie of the Year Andy Loden scored 3 wins, set fast time at 7 events and came home third in the point standings.

Robert’s presence at the track throughout the season bodes well for the teams that have chosen his chassis. If he’s not turning wrenches on his own cars he’s lending his knowledge to those who race his “Hot Rods”. 2011 is poised to be another successful season for Hamke Race Cars with the return of last season’s most successful campaigners and the addition of many new teams aboard Hamke built machines. His passion for the sport shines through in his dedication and drive for success.

To be eligible for the season ending award, the championship winning team must run all proper PASS contingency award stickers in their designated locations at all point awarding events on the 2011 PASS South Series schedule. In the event the championship team fails to meet these requirements the chassis will be awarded to the next eligible team in the final PASS South point standings that has fulfilled the requirements.
