On January 15, 2011, Charlie Buxton, will be in Denver, NC for his graduation, from the Race 101 Program. During the 2010 season Charlie was one of 14 students travelling back and forth to North Carolina, to attend the program.
The program is designed to help the “racers to have better instincts at driving, and give them a fuller understanding of the race car itself and how to communicate that to a crew. Racing on a budget, understanding the industry, the engineering and safety with guest experts.” Race101.net
Charlie and his fellow classmates, also learned the skills of marketing and management.
The graduation will be broadcast on the race 101 website (www.Race101.net), starting at 2:00 pm. Jan. 15th, 2010. Each student will be giving a speech and will be given time for each student to be interviewed by the media. The Premier Driver for Race101 for 2011 will be announced at this time. The selected student will be given a ride on the PASS South Series. This will be once in a lifetime opportunity for one of the 14 students.
