LEE, NH- For many race teams the annual Lee USA Speedway Oktoberfest
this Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be their final laps run on a race
track this year. For many race fans, this is also the last party weekend of
the year.

The racing begins on Friday with an open practice for most divisions
from 3-7:00 PM, followed by a pizza and beer party in the Checkered Flag Pub
with a DJ, karaoke and dancing at 7 PM.

On Saturday, the pit gates swing open at 8:00 AM, with practice for all
divisions starting at 12:00 noon. Heat races for all divisions begins at
2:00 PM, with any necessary consolation events to follow. A spaghetti dinner
is scheduled for 7:00 PM, after qualifying is completed.

Then on Sunday it’s a full day of features only competition, starting at
12:00 noon with a 50-lap Pro Stock event paying $1,500 to win.

“I have gotten more calls and inquiries about the Pro Stock race than
any other,” states Lee Promoter Bob Watson. “It should be a great way to
start our Sunday program.”

The Allison Legacy Cars are up next with a special 20-lap race of their
own. Then the Late Models take to the track for 50 Laps, also paying $1,500
to win. Running with ACT Tour rules, a good field of cars is expected.

The Modified Racing Series season finale should get underway shorty
after 2:00 PM, for what is always an exciting event. Lee has become known as
the only track on the tour where starting position means nothing, and
late-race passes for the lead in recent years are proof of that.

Following these races will be the: LMS/Super Streets, Hobby/Strickly
Stocks, Four Cylinders, NE Classic Lites, Small Block Supers, Ironman/Six
Cylinder Enduros, and the Outlaw Mini Stocks.

It’s going to be a long winter ahead. Don’t miss the last big weekend of
racing and partying  in New England at the Lee USA Speedway on October 22,23
and 24. A Breakfast Buffet will be available beginning at 8:00 AM both days.
