Lee, NH (October 17, 2009) —  It' a short track racing smorgasbord, 14
different divisions of race cars from throughout the Northeast, competing in
the 24th annual "Oktoberfest", October 23,24,25, at Lee USA Speedway, Rte
125, Lee, NH.

The season ending race program will highlight championship races for five
touring divisions including the popular True Value Modified Racing Series
looking to crown its fourth different champion in six years of operation.

Jonathan McKennedy, E.Chelmsford, MA., brings a slim 13 point lead to Lee
over W.Swanzey, NH., veteran Rob Goodnough,  Sophomore hot shoe Stephen
Masse, Bellingham, MA., is third, only 22 points out of first place.

The PASS Twin State Modified Series championship will be decided this
weekend as will the Allison Legacy Series, NEMA midget (lites), and the
Northeast Classic Lites (dwarf cars)

In addition to the touring divisions, Late Models, Late Model Sportsman,
Hobby/Strictly Stocks, Ironman/Enduro, Roadrunners/ Outlaw Mini Stocks, and
Small Block Supermodifieds will all be in competition. Recently added will
be the Super Late Models to round out the card.

Racers from all over the northeast have traditionally travelled to the
seacoast race facility to compete. Another large turnout of race teams is
expected.

Friday night, Oct 23, a karaoke party will take place in the Checkered Flag
Pub, a spaghetti dinner and dancing and haunted hay rides will highlight
Saturday night, Oct 24, and a buffet breakfast will be offered Saturday and
Sunday morning.

Practice sessions will be conducted on Friday from 3 to 7 PM., with
qualifying heat races to determine starting positions on Saturday at 2 PM.
Feature races for all divisions including the 100 lap modified race take
place on Sunday, at 12 noon.
