Lee, NH  (September 29, 2008) – – It’s that time of year again as Lee USA Speedway, Route 125, Lee, NH, puts the wraps on their 2008 Season with it’s 23rd annual Oktoberfest, a three day race event that offers something for everyone. Fans can expect hayrides for those camping Saturday night, dancing and karaoke under the Big Top. Mac Tools Pit Stop Competition, Big Wheel Races for kids, 12 Divisions of racing highlighted by the crowning of  the tracks 2008 Champions in pre-race festivities, and the return of the True Value Modified Racing Series for 100 laps of ground pounding action.

The TVMRS will kick off their final three races of their 16 race season at Lee with a hotly contested battle for the series championship taking place between point leader Chris Pasteryak, defending champion Kirk Alexander and Mike Holdridge. Alexander is 11 points behind Pasteryak with Holdridge four points behind Alexander.
 
In addition to the Modifieds, Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, Hobby Stocks, Roadrunners, Legends, Strictly Stocks, Ironman, Allison Legacy, Outlaw Mini Stocks, Classic Lites, and Small Block Supermodifieds will all be in competition. Racers from all over the northeast have traditionally travelled to the seacoast race facility to compete. Another large turnout of race teams is expected.
 
The popular Breakfast Buffet will be served Saturday (8:30 AM to 10:30 AM) and Sunday morning (8:00 AM to 10:30 AM) under the Big Top. Fans will also have the opportunity to dine on Pete and Carol Watson’s popular spaghetti dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM Saturday evening.
 
Practice for competition will begin Friday afternoon from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM  Drivers will practice again starting at 12 Noon Saturday with qualifying heat races starting at 2:00 PM.
