Scarborough,Maine- What do you get when you have a rain out for 2 consecutive weeks and a pit area full of hungry race car drivers? A crash filled controversy filled night of racing that’s what you get. Not lost in all of the mayhem was T.J. Brackett winning his first ever Pro Series race at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. On Saturday night the Pro Series main event started off with a 3 car crash in the back wall before a single lap could be completed. Once that was cleared up Steven Jones led the opening laps before yielding to Chris Smith on the third lap.x
OXFORD, Maine – Any spectators heading for the exits early in hopes of beating the traffic Saturday night should learn a valuable lesson: Never walk out on an Allen's Coffee Flavored Brandy Mini Stock feature at Oxford Plains Speedway while Justin Karkos is still involved.
BARRE, VT – Glen Luce of Turner, ME is seemingly on the verge of capturing his first-ever American-
Canadian Tour Late Model stock car victory. The 20-year racing veteran is in his first full season of ACT
competition, and after a steep learning curve early in the year, feels that he’s ready to break into victory
lane. He wants to do it at the 30th Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 at Barre, VT’s Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl on Sunday, August 31.
CHARLOTTE, NC (August 21) – As the 2008 Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model season heads down the homestretch, new driver and team combinations continue to join the Nation’s top Super Late Model Series. Former three-time NASCAR All Pro Series Champion Jeff Fultz and up and coming driver Logan Ruffin are among the drivers who have already competed in more and more PASS South events as the season has gained momentum and it looks like they will be joined by some more impressive names.
BARRE, VT – A host of “underdog” stock car drivers ruled the night at Barre’s Thunder Road on Thursday in front of a large crowd on Kinney Drugs Night. Mike “Beetle” Bailey and Jamie “Hurricane” Fisher split a pair of 50-lap Late Model features, while Chris Chambers earned his first NAPA Tiger Sportsman win of the season. Bailey, of South Barre, notched his first career win in the previously rained-out Calkins Portables/WDEV Radio Late Model 50 to begin the evening. Bailey had not finished inside the top ten since an eighth-place result on June 19. He won the Calkins/WDEV race going away in a caution-free affair that took just 12 minutes to complete. Fisher, of Shelburne, finished second after a long battle with Montpelier’s Phil Scott. John Donahue of Graniteville finished fourth on Scott’s bumper with rookie Matt White of Northfield fifth.

It was only fitting that Sunday's running of the N.E. Toyota Tundra 250 at Wiscasset Raceway came down to a green-white-checkers finish between the two drivers who dominated the inuagural event. In the end it was Farmingdale's Johnny Clark who took home the win over Boothbay native Corey Williams to claim the $30,000+ payoff. Clark could not help but reflect on his long list of success at the track that launched his career. "I got my first prostock win here in 97' when I was seventeen" recalled the winner in victory lane. "I beat Stan Messerve and John Phippen that day and I thought that was the best. This one is right there with that one. It's great to get this one at my home track".
