RPM. How did you get started in racing?
Melissa. I started my racing career in karts.
RPM. What is your most memorable moment in your racing career?
Melissa. My most memorable moment would be my first Allison Legacy race at Lee USA Speedway, or winning the Jr Champ Championship.
RPM. What's your favorite track to race at?
Melissa. My favorite track would be Lee USA Speedway because its my home track and it’s a fun track to race on.
RPM. What are your plans for the 2008 season?
Melissa. I will be racing in the Allison Legacy North Series.
RPM. What do you think of the Allison Legacy Series?
Melissa. I think it’s a great series for up and coming drivers and the racing is always exciting.
RPM. Do you plan on racing the full season with Allison Legacy North Tour?
Melissa. Yes
RPM. Where do you see your racing career in 5 yrs?
Melisa. Hopefully racing in a bigger touring series, maybe something like Camping World East Series or even ARCA.
RPM. Do you work on the car as well as drive it?
Melissa. Yes.
RPM. What are your plans for after high school?
Melissa. I plan to go down south and attending UNCC for the automotive engineering program and continue racing.
RPM. Do you plan on going to any racing schools?
Melissa. Not at this time, but maybe in the future.
RPM. What do you like to do when you are not racing?
Melissa. I like to work on cars, snowmobile, four-wheel, and play the NASCAR racing games.
