Richard Childress Racing (RCR) and Howard Motorsports have joined forces as Childress-Howard Motorsports (CHM) to field a Daytona Prototype team for a limited number of events in the 2008 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series.
The announcement was made and the No. 2 CHM Pontiac Crawford was unveiled this evening at the RCR facility during its stop on the NASCAR Media Tour. The team will utilize the driving talents of Andy Wallace and be powered by a Pontiac engine in a Crawford DPO3 chassis.

Dale Earnhardt�s 2001 Participation In Rolex 24 At Daytona Reintroduced Sports Car Racing To NASCAR Fans, Competitors
As fast as the media could report it, word shot around the world in the fall of 2000 when Dale Earnhardt announced he would compete in the Rolex 24 At Daytona on Feb. 3-4, 2001, barely three months away on Daytona International Speedway�s 3.56-mile road course.

Ricky Craven is teaming up with Wal-Marts in the Bangor region to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. January 28 and 29, 2008 will mark the eleventh year that Wal-Mart has joined with Craven for a snowmobile ride to benefit area children.

WATERBURY, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) stock car racing organization has reached an agreement with RT Raceparts of Hudson, NH and Torco Racing Fuels to be the Official Fuel Supplier for all ACT Late Model racing in the United States and Canada, including Barre, VT’s Thunder Road, the ACT Late Model Tour, and the Série ACT Castrol, effective immediately. It is anticipated that other ACT-affiliated tracks in the region will become part of this program.
