Middlesex drove from 17th to win the 50-lap Vermont ACE Hardware Dealers feature at Barre’s Thunder Road on Thursday night.  Scott, a three-time “King of the Road” nipped Marcel Gravel of Wolcott by a nose at the finish line in one of the wildest races of the season.

The PASS Outlaw Late Models will be at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, NH on Friday night at 7:45PM along with the PASS Modifieds, the Riverside Super Stocks and Street Stocks on two for one night – two adult tickets for the price of one. Then on Sunday, the modifieds will make the trek over the mountains to the Maine shoreline for a full afternoon of PASS style action at Doug White’s Wiscasset Raceway.

OXFORD, Maine – Fred Clavet said his pit crew completely overhauled the motor in his #71 Chimney Tech Outlaw ride after another frustrating run two weeks ago.

Guess it was worth the trouble. Clavet, a rookie in the Acceleration Series, dominated the opening round of three 20-lap Outlaw features Wednesday night for his first career victory at Oxford Plains Speedway.

       BARRE, VT – Hometown stock car racer Nick Sweet has been a dominant force in the NAPA Auto Parts Tiger Sportsman division at Barre’s Thunder Road this summer, and has been making strides toward winning his first Track Championship at the historic 48 year-old speedway.  Just a few weeks away from his 23rd birthday, Sweet is part of Thunder Road’s “new breed” of young, talented racers.  Entering the next-to-last Thursday night event, the VT ACE Hardware Dealers Trophy Dash this Thursday, Sweet leads veteran East Montpelier racer Joey Laquerre by a comfortable margin in the Sportsman point standings, 801-692.

The American-Canadian Tour was held up for just under 29 minutes by perhaps the last true outlaw in New England on Saturday night at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway.  In a convincing – although nearly too late – performance, Rowley, MA driver Eddie MacDonald took 32 hostages at the Time Warner Cable 100, and only released them after he was given the winner’s trophy.
