Seven points separate three drivers with two races remaining
BARRE, VT – The “King of the Road” 2007 stock car title bout at Barre’s Thunder Road is the closest in the history of the American-Canadian Tour Late Model division. Following the 50-lap Vermont ACE Hardware Dealers main event on Thursday, three drivers find themselves in a virtual deadlock for the track championship.
NORTH WOODSTOCK, NH – American-Canadian Tour (ACT) stock car drivers Brent Dragon and Joey “Pole” Polewarczyk, Jr. enter Saturday’s Kancamaugus 100 at White Mountain Motorsports Park at the top of the list of potential race winners. The pair finished 1-2 in their most recent appearance at the picturesque ¼-mile facility in June.
BARRE, VT – Champion American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Model stock car racer Phil Scott of
Middlesex drove from 17th to win the 50-lap Vermont ACE Hardware Dealers feature at Barre’s Thunder Road on Thursday night. Scott, a three-time “King of the Road” nipped Marcel Gravel of Wolcott by a nose at the finish line in one of the wildest races of the season.
(Naples, ME – August 16, 2007) PASS style racing is back at Wiscasset Raceway this Sunday afternoon August 19th with heat races starting at 3PM, and it’s almost in full force. The PASS Outlaw Late Models will be at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, NH on Friday night at 7:45PM along with the PASS Modifieds, the Riverside Super Stocks and Street Stocks on two for one night – two adult tickets for the price of one. Then on Sunday, the modifieds will make the trek over the mountains to the Maine shoreline for a full afternoon of PASS style action at Doug White’s Wiscasset Raceway.
