Contingency Program Gets Back To Grassroots Racing

CONCORD, NC (May 31, 2007) – RACING ELECTRONICS is one of the most well-known companies in the Motorsports world today.  But that doesn’t stop the Concord, North Carolina-based company from wanting to continually reach out to new racers and new race fans around the country.

Now, the leader in Professional Race Communications has teamed up with one of the fastest-growing Short Track Racing Series in the country.  RACING ELECTRONICS has teamed up with the Pro All Stars Series for its North and South Super Late Model Tours to become a contingency sponsor.

“We are always looking to become more involved with grassroots racing and the PASS North and South Super Late Model Series is a great place to do that,” said RACING ELECTRONICS President and CEO, Bruce Silver.  “That series has really been growing over the last couple of years and with the addition of the South Series last year, it’s the perfect place for us to get involve.  This allows us to hit a couple of other areas of the country.  It also let’s the weekly racers, that keep our sport going and healthy, see that we support them.”

As part of the contingency sponsorship, RACING ELECTRONICS will offer PASS North and South teams $50 gift certificates for the second-place finisher of each event in each region.  It’s all part of RE’s “Second To None” program.  In addition, RE will be at many of the races, working directly with the series officials and teams.  The series will also award a brand new two-way headset at the banquet at the end of the year.
