Make sure you Finish the Race of Life in First Place
Are you sure you will go to heaven when you die? Would you like to be sure? Make sure you win the race of life!

Accept that you are a sinner. Recognize your need for forgiveness (1 John 1:9)
"As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one." (Romans 3:10) "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Believe that Jesus Christ died as a sacrifice for your sins. (John 3:16)

Confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. Receive and put your trust in Him alone for your salvation (John 1:12) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."(Romans 10:13)

You can pray right now, wherever you are something similar to this and if you believe in your heart, you may know that you are forgiven and have received eternal life:

"Oh God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus was my substitute when he died on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me. I now receive Him as my Saviour. Come into my life as my Lord and Savior. I thank you for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of the merciful grace. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. In Your name I pray, Amen"

( Now What do I do? )

Racing Quotes:

Cindy Elliott
"I get worried if it's 'Start your engines' and they haven't gotten there yet," Cindy Elliott said of the chaplains. "It makes you feel really good. If we didn't have the religious beliefs we do, it would probably be very difficult for me to watch [Bill] get in the car and go race. But having that, and believing Jesus Christ is our savior and beyond this life is a better life for all of us. ... Of course, I would be afraid to lose him. I don't want to live this life without him, but that's out of selfishness."

Dale Beaver NASCAR chaplain:
"The guys that I sense are struggling, I just try to encourage them," he said. "In my prayer, I always mention that God has given this person incredible abilities. I try to remind them that what they have is adequate and that it comes from God. I want them to understand that whether they're racecar drivers or window washers, if God has given you ability to do certain things he wants you to glorify Him in it.

"Then, I always ask God for blessings of protection on that person in the car, for blessings of protection on the crew as they're attending to the car on pit road. And I always ask for peace of mind for the wife."

Ida Compton:
Ida Compton rarely misses a Winston Cup race. Most weekends, she parks herself in the garage area outside her son Stacy's hauler, cooking meals for the race team.

"Stacy's been racing since he was 6," Mrs. Compton said. "I say the Lord has been good to us because I never worry about him getting hurt. ... This is his life. Even after Dale Earnhardt got killed you think everybody is indestructible. I hope nothing ever happens to Stacy. But there is always that thought.

"I don't really worry about him in the racecar, anymore. If I did, I couldn't handle it. I'd go crazy. The first race he was in I'd have a heart attack. I don't ever think about it. There again, I go back to God and faith."
